Silverchair.

Post by rock and/or roll on Mon 28 Dec 2009, 10:34 am

I actually don't have much of their music, but they deserve a thread.

They're an Aussie trio (founded in 1992 as Innocent Criminals) made up of Daniel Johns on guitar and vocals, Chris Joannou on bass and Ben Gillies on drums. They've released five studio albums so far in their career, the latest being Young Modern. Some of their best known songs are Freak, Tomorrow, Anthem for the Year 2000 and Straight Lines.

I think I overlistened to Straight Lines because it was on the ad for Supernatural a while back. XD Still think it's a good song though.

And I've always loved Freak and Anthem for the Year 2000. Ana's Song and Emotion Sickness are great too.

I bought Freak Show recently. Haven't really given it a proper listen yet, but I like what I've heard so far.
